2019 Girona Masters Workshop
Week long workshop at the University of Girona exploring the social spaces of the city and their possible future
The workshop, led by David Kohn, encouraged students to analyse the city around them in order to understand how architecture supports social relations. The results of this analysis was applied to a site in Girona, proposing new forms of social infrastructure.
Starting with observation and hand sketches, the students formed groups, developed shared narratives about their work and produced physical models of agglomerative social spaces that gave form to their proposals.
